Ca va parfois jusque dans le choix de fonds de teint.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jusque dans les années 1920, les pellicules étaient exclusivement orthochromatiques (très peu sensibles aux rouges, et très sensibles aux bleus et aux verts), les visages devaient donc être maquillés en bleu - bleus à lèvres entre autres - pour avoir l&amp;#39;air réalistes en projection.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dans certains films expressionnistes, les ombres étaient même peintes sur les murs. Une technique que les Allemands et autres Européens ont apporté aux USA après avoir fui les régimes totalitaires entre la fin des années 20 et le début des années 30.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dans le domaine du film NB, l&amp;#39;imagination semblait n&amp;#39;avoir aucune limite.
